Uzbekistan: Decriminalize homosexuality

The rights groups called on Uzbekistan to abolish article 120 of the Criminal Code, under which homosexuality is punishable by up to three years’ imprisonment. The groups signing the letter are Amnesty International, Anti Discrimination Centre Memorial, Association for Human Rights in Central Asia, Civil Rights Defenders, Eurasian Coalition for Male Health, Freedom House, Freedom Now, the International Partnership for Human Rights and the Norwegian Helsinki Committee.
